DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The position is responsible to handle all operational inquiries related to our Service Management Platform ServiceNow. This includes the fulfillment of Service Request and the Second Level handling of Incidents. Further, the incumbent will execute lower-level development activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Coordination of the daily operational activities related to Service Request fulfillment and Incident resolution. This includes the
2. Taking ownership on our team and platform KPIs and drive the constant effort of achieving them
3. Implementation of catalogue items using the workflow engine or flow designer.
4. Working closely together with IT and business units to gather functional requirements, translate them in development stories (if necessary, via a technical documentation), give effort estimations, and implement them based on ITIL and ServiceNow best practices
5. Providing ServiceNow trainings to end users
6. Creation of Standard Operation Procedures, Know, Error Articles, user guides and process documentation
7. Monitor the health and security status of our instances, and take necessary preventive actions
8. Evaluate ServiceNow application opportunities and threats by new trends and developments in and outside of the company.
9. Ensure assigned project tasks required for the development, test and implementation are completed on schedule and in high quality
10. Perform all other tasks as required

• Experience with 1 or more Identity and Access Management (looking into a solution now) and Strong Authentication Systems such as Azure AD (we use now Azure MFA), Active Directory, Kerberos, SSO, SAML, and/or OAuth (Azure EA)
• Experience with Azure DevOps and security automation
• Experience with Malware protection, Enterprise Detection and Response and Host-based Intrusion Prevention Systems,
• Knowledge on Vulnerability and compliance management platforms (Qualys is used in Azure by Defender On, and we will most likely move from Rapid7/Nexpose to Tenable/Nessus); understanding on patch management solutions (we are using Altiris and WSUS, we move to Intune)
• Scripting in Python and PowerShell
• Experience and ability to work in complex, multi-domain, and large-scale infrastructure
• Experience in Public Key Infrastructure / PKI and certificate management
• Experience in Password vaults / Privileged Access Manager (we have CyberArk but plan to move to another product, most likely OneIdentity)

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum five years of applicable working experience (designing and building software applications) with experience of working in agile environments
• 2+ years of experience with the Microsoft Azure Cloud.
• Proficiency in Java 11 and 17.
• Significant experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Experience with any of these technologies is a plus: Azure DevOps, Jira, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Azure Container Registry/Instances, Azure Active Directory, Kubernetes, Ambassador, Terraform.
• In-depth knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring framework, ORM, Reactive programming, Java concurrency, Java design pattern, JVM and memory management
• Significant experience working on the full stack of enterprise web-based cloud applications
• Experience with test tools for testing integrated systems and performance
• Experience with all stages of the software life cycle including Continuous Integration tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT, Bamboo, Maven, etc.)
• Experience of developing software systems in a satellite context or environment is a plus
